Its history stretches far back, marked by sieges and conquests by a procession of rulers throughout the ages. At a certain juncture, the Gwalior Fort stood as an impregnable bastion in the heart of northern and central India. A symbol of military might that harbors a multitude of temples, each bearing the unique imprint of various kings from different eras.
